Based on Microsoft's Net framework, Webcontrol's student tracking system (WSTS) is a feature rich, fully integrated 'student application' management system.

How the STS works

Access to the system is on-line, via the World Wide Web. Students access an application form that allows them to enter their biographical details, education work experience, statement of purpose, etc., and select a specific university/course. This can be tailored to universities own application form.

The student and agent is given a user name and password so that they can access the database and review the progress of their application. The agent records the status of the application and is able to request additional information from the students as appropriate.

In addition, each institution is provided with a user name and password so that they can track all students that have applied to their schools or departments within their own institution.

The system reduces errors, increases operational efficiency, and ensures accurate and complete students information, on-time, any-time. It also reduces time.
